FuFu Life in Frankfurt - Part Nineteen

The posters and banners of the event could be seen anywhere.

On 18th April, DTM held its season launch for the first time in Wiesbaden, the capital city of the state of Hessen that located only thirty minutes away from Frankfurt was turned into a Mecca for motor racing enthusiasts. DTM, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (German Touring Car Masters) is a popular touring car racing series in Europe that based in Germany. The racing series, manufacturers, teams and drivers presented themselves to the general public before the real car racing.

As a 50% fan of racing car, i definitely would not want to miss the opportunity taking part this kind of spectacular event. It's all about keeping the euphoria alive for the season opener. The multifaceted show programme, brilliant sunshine and fast racing cars did not only inspire the thousands of visitors on site alone, the DTM drivers also prove to be truly inspired by their performances.

An unique experience to see DTM cars' first outing of the 2010 season and also the battle for the grid positions. It's an action-packed day and i could get a close-up experience of the cars and the drivers. That's simply the way motorsport should be. Everyone can experience all the fascination of the DTM right in the heart of the city - race cars driving in the streets, a stunt show, musical performances, autograph sessions, interviews of the drivers which I couldn't think of any other racing series that does that.

I had to call back home so i didn't join my friends but went there alone two hours later. It's still fantastic. Though my ears complained a lot, my eyes keep opening big watching the performances until i had forgotten taking video for the best part of the event. A little crowded yet i had a fascinating day! Special thanks extended to the awesome weather!


But well, FuFu back to the park again!
