FuFu Journey to Brazil - Part Two

Arrived safely and sharply at 20:25 (as scheduled) @ Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG), Paris, France. Had a short layover at the airport. The sun was setting approximately at 9:30pm. (Bear in mind that during summer, day time is longer in Europe around end of July till mid of Aug. It would be totally dark after 10++pm.)

This international airport is HUGE. I personally was impressed by the architecture of the airport. Not only that, the colour of the floor carpet almost everywhere in the airport is red! As if every passenger is treated like a VIP, walking on the red carpet! Nevertheless, i had to walked twenty minutes from where i got off AF 2319 to Terminal 2F (they have 2A, 2B, 2C till 2F). Anyhow, Terminal 2F is awesome! I was always looking up through the lens and clicking the button. I mean the roof was stunning specially when the airport was lit up! Need to mention, i also enjoyed answering the call of nature in the toilet. Why? you gotta browse through all the pictures in this album!

Had been waiting nearly three house for the flight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Boarding time was 23:20. As usual, i had nothing to do but wandering every corner of the airport capturing shots i like and taking videos here and there with my cameras. Now you know how i killed the three hours of layover in Paris. The magnificent sunset made me feel so romantic. How i wish i could watch it with the one i really love! Definitely gotta go back to Paris (The Romance Capital) and this airport again. However, one thing really pulled me down was there's no free WiFi (well, almost all European airports!). One hour is Euro 6 (RM 30), WTF!


A smooth landing by Air France, Airbus A319.


Airbus A319 (Flight AF2319 - Voyageur) touched down safely.


Slowly the captain bringing everyone to the terminal.

This airport has its own characteristics too.


Alright, got out from Airbus A319.


Arrived at Terminal One.


Searching the terminal for the next flight connection.


See, the floor carpet is red. Everyone feels like he/she is a VIP.


Nice architecture!




Flight Connections. Followed the direction of the sign.




It's a long way to Terminal 2F.




VIP still had to walk. No exception.


Where is Terminal 2F? Ops it's Terminal 2F!! LOL


Finally arrived Terminal 2F twenty minutes later.


Gotta go to boarding gate F49.




This is one of the terminal wings, 2F. Seven wings from 2A till 2G.


Amazed by the structure. A very energy-friendly design.


It's 8pm, yet still very bright!


Left my belongings at boarding gate F49.


Wandering around the terminal. Only few shops worth to visit.












Euro 6 (RM 30) per hour. Only people from Mainland China used it.

Imagine they have six more similar wings for Terminal Two!


Walking here and there, north to south.




End of the wing. VIP lounge for SkyTeam members to rest quietly.


FuFu found it similar with the main railway station in Tianjin.


Wait a moment. The sun was about to set!


Never miss the sunset at the airport!

It's 9:30pm and the sun is about to say goodbye.


Another one hour and a half to kill before boarding.


FuFu said goodbye to Mr. Sun.




No worry! Next the airport was lighted up! Lucky.


FuFu had something to do now.


FuFu then turned his attention to the roof!








Okay. Heading to the duty free shops!


Nothing to buy. Wanna answer the call of nature.


Very handicapped-friendly! Good.


Oh my goodness.


This definitely is the best toilet FuFu has been to so far.


Oh my Buddha! This is simply awesome!


How could FuFu not stay longer peeing?


If you are working with the airport authority, gotta learn from French!


Really wanna sit on the chair! LOL


Luckily no one inside the toilet! So FuFu could enjoy snapping!


This toilet received FuFu's full marks!


It's almost 45 minustes before boarding time!


Gotta back to the seat and check if FuFu's belongings still there.


Well, the airport has hundreds of CCTV ! No worries!


Airbus 747-400 (Flight AF442 - Voyageur) had arrived!


Last boarding call! Two passengers hadn't come. DAMN!


Boarding time was delayed 20 minutes. SHIT!


Every passenger was hoping to get on board as soon as possible.


Heading to Airbus 747-400, finally!
