FuFu World Tour - Depart to Europe
Taking Royal Brunei to Brunei then London.
FuFu World Tour - The Departure
4th - 5th August 2007 | KL - Brunei - London to Prague |
Royal Brunei was the cheapest choice to Europe at that moment.
Wondering why there's a mirror in front of every seat.
The flight attendants were all pretty ones. Love the uniform!
Only one and a half hour journey yet the in-flight meal was served.
The Brunei International Airport is surprisingly smaller than LCCT.
Transit in Brunei. Exploring the airport and reading magazines.
After the exploring and reading, FuFu camwhored at the toilet.
It's boring as the international airport has nothing.
Got on a bigger plane for London two hours later.
Right after the take-off, snacks and juice were served. Excellent.
FuFu enjoyed the in-flight dinner while watching movie.
The dessert was MILO ice cream. Luxurious. The five star service!
Supper with butter croissant and milk coffee. Incredible.
The early breakfast with curry puff, banana, cake and milk tea.
Wow, it's damn freaking lucky to see the sunrise on the plane.
Was told seeing the stately sunrise in the sky would be hyper lucky.
Seriously, it's truly gorgeous. Everyone was screaming on the plane.
Fuyoh, hope the lucks would be with FuFu forever.
The sea of clouds either was stunning.
Breakfast was served later on. FuFu liked the rendang and pudding.
Finally the plane was on top of British territories.
The famous Thames River & London O2 multipurpose indoor arena.
And the Tower bridge which many of us thought it as London Bridge.
Wow, London Eye too gorgeously standing by the river.
London was not the first destination. He gonna head to Prague.
London was the final destination of FuFu World Tour - Europe.
Landed and FuFu was one of the passengers who left the plane late.
Ops, FuFu shouldn't take pictures though. See the camera?!
Anyway, the British welcome everyone to London.
FuFu was free so he explored around the famous Heathrow Airport.
The coach station at Heathrow was very futuristic.
It's time to get the bus from Heathrow to Stansted Airport.
The bus ticket was only £5 as FuFu booked online a month earlier.
Stansted is much smaller than Heathrow (London has three airports).
Checked-in and the stomach shouting for food.
The cheapest meal FuFu could afford for lunch, £7.50.
FuFu was waiting in the terminal for like three hours.
Was very thirsty so FuFu bought his favourite Latte.
One of the low-cost couriers to travel in Europe (based in London).
Like Airasia, the passengers need to walk to the "budget" plane.
FuFu was so excited as he was on top of Prague, Czech Republic.
Everyone's rushing to get their passports stamped.
See it? Welcome to Prague, FuFu!
Got the one day tram ticket from the airport.
Lovely tram, FuFu got off at XXX station.
Looking at the map, searching for the backpacker's hostel.
Found the hostel at last and it's the dormitory room with eight beds.
Met up his online buddy, Janette from Vienna, Austria.
Well, actually Janette was one of my best European online buddies from MySpace. We have been knowing each other since 2006 and she knew that i would like to travel around Europe after coming back from Japan. And since she had just finished her working holiday in Ireland, we decided to backpack together throughout Europe for about three weeks to Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and France.
The Prague homemade jam was simply awesome.
FuFu had half of this pizza. Yummy.
Catching up with Janette while having a leisure walk around.
It's still bright at 9.30pm in Prague, i wanted to explore the area around the hostel more but it's a long journey all the way from Malaysia, transit in Brunei, arrived London's Heathrow and took off from Stansted Airport, landed Prague International Airport and at last found the hostel and met up my online buddy. After Turkey, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hongkong, Macau and the mainland China, i was again on the track travelling around Europe for about seven weeks.
It's time to go back as FuFu wanted to have a good sleep.
Seriously writing the travelogue now, i slowly am admiring FuFu. Cause he real has all the guts, lucks, energy, zero-commitment, cash and time to make his dream travelling around the world come true. He thought he would only spend a year to travel around after getting his bachelor degree from Hiroshima University. He was so wrong. Life itself is a journey. FuFu can't live a life without travelling.
