Having more and more readers asking me when would i be going back home lately. So to make thing clear, i would like to take this opportunity here to announce that i would be going back after my M. Sc. in Urban Agglomerations then a short backpacking trip around Central and Eastern Europe. To be exact, probably around end of August or early of September 2011.
Before continue reading, please enjoy the pictures below.

Got a called from Mission Impossible Agency.

Ops, by the way, Happy Malaysia Day (16th September 2010).
Okay, back to the main topic of the day. How often do you guys take bus to work, school, leisure activities or other purposes besides the long haul direct bus back to hometown? I used to take bus to my university when i was in Hiroshima and Germany. I don't have MP3 or Ipod, so i would always observe the movement of the people from the window as well where the passengers would get off and guess what they were going to do there. I was also wondering would the bus driver get bored since he gotta repeat the same routine of his work several times a day. Probably not, because the passengers he is going to pick up would be different. The weather might be sunny, cloudy, rainy or windy, etc. Number and types of vehicles running on the road also differ all day long.
So if you are a bus driver. You had decided where you are going, how you are going to get there, and who is going with you. Immediately you will start the journey by announcing to the people on the bus where they are going and the estimated time of arrival to the destination. Unfortunately, the bus broke down 53 minutes after you have started the engine. The passengers waited for the next bus coming to get them to the destination. But after a while, they all get frustrated and started to piss off. "#$%^!@X". It may be your fault because you didn't check the bus's condition properly beforehand. Or probably you didn't send it for inspection and spend the money on other purposes. Or you pumped in only petrol, forgot to add sufficient water and black oil to keep the engine run smoothly.
But since the bus has broken down, do you, as a passengers try to solve the problem rather than annoyingly complaining? Stop recriminations! Ask around, who knows one of the passengers know to fix the engine. Collect the mineral water you have bought to drink in the bus to cool down the heat. No matter you are engineer, doctor, teacher, student or nobody, you guys are travelling on the same bus to the same destination. As far as i know passengers can't decide who to drive the bus. Though it may the driver's fault but the bus is at standstill now, stop blaming and try to solve the problem together so the bus driver could start the engine again. The arrival time may be delayed but we will still anyhow be able to reach our destination! Seriously you guys have to pause a minute and think twice here!

However, Mr. Bean said if he was the bus driver, he would select who to be his passengers after decided where he wanna go and how far can he could drive. He added, "I know, in reality, it's hard to choose the perfect passengers. But if there's any wrong people on the bus, i would definitely drop him or her off and again pick up the right people in the right seats so they could contribute.".
Mr. Bean is so wrong. Why? To get the wrong passenger off the bus and get the right passenger on the bus, is absolutely the wrong approach. It would only make the journey long. Moreover, the passengers had bought the tickets and you can't simply ask them to get off!
Later, Mr. FuFu mentioned, "I would rather stick with my own discipline - first talk with the people, then decide the direction, no matter how dire the circumstances.". Not only have the direction set clearly and compromised with the passengers, FuFu will let everyone know that it's going to be a tough ride, a very demanding trip. Get ready for the challenge.
"If you don't want to go, just say no. It's fine."
Hence, seated on FuFu's bus were all open-minded, dedicated and ambitious people who all agree and support the decision made by the driver.
"Now is the time to depart."

With the right passengers on the bus, in the right seats, FuFu then completely turned his full attention driving to their ideal destination. Not only with his vision set clearly, FuFu also understand three simple truths. First is to get loyal, passionate, supportive and tough passengers. Because the scenery outside the bus will be kept changing (world has changed), so some of the passengers might want to get off and change the direction while the faithful passengers would stay because they are principally smart in responding to the changing conditions and keep following the driver.
Second, by having the right passenger on the bus, FuFu doesn't need to worry about motivating them. Instead they are self-motivated people. Automatically, they will take the initiative to solve all problems happened throughout the journey to make sure they will reach their destination safely. Nothing beats having group of a team that is expected to achieve one goal successfully. And third, if you have the wrong passenger on the bus, nothing else matters, sometimes you just can't get everything perfect. FuFu will still be determinative and head to the destination. Even though he may not be achieving greatness but at least he would bring all passengers to the final destination.
"United we eat, divided we slim."

I am not saying that Mr. FuFu is going to be a bus driver after his master study. But at least, he should be the driver we all would like to hop on his bus, enjoying the smooth and steady drive towards the destination. Also, i wish everyone who is following FuFu Malaysia Project, please behave like the ideal passenger FuFu would like to work with. Stop recriminating when problems occur. Remember, though the journey would be delayed, as long as we could reach our destination at the end, stop wasting your energy, saliva and time to complain but solve the problems, cheer up and fully give the support to the driver. We are all on the same bus. We need to help each other. Otherwise, we will never reach our destination.
"Next destination, FuFu Terminal Station."
By the way i would like to start pursuing my dream once i have returned home. If you are one of the right passengers, welcome on board towards my beautiFu and wonderFu (FuFu) world.

Happy Malaysia Day!
