Arrived the bus terminal of CIFA at Tumbes, Peru. Initially planned to visit Cuenca first, but the custom officer requested me to show him the document of yellow fever injection. I didnt have it. And the bus driver was waiting for me like not more than 30mins and threw my luggages out from the bus, then started the engine heading to Cuenca, leaving me alone at the check point of Ecuador.
Luckily, group of Chilean girls who took the bus from Lima, Peru with me heading to Quayaquil arrived a minute later. One of them speak English and i asked them to help me since i dont speak good Spanish. After our little discussion, i decided to say i lost the paper in Cusco together with the camera. Fortunately i have the police report of the loss of my Camera in Cusco. After showing him the report, he let me enter Ecuador. Phew, what a relief, seriously.
So i went to Quayaquil with them (four girls) and a Swiss guy. Sitting beside me was a fireman from Guayaquil, we talked a while before i taking my nap. He was very nice as he offered to show us (the four girls too) around Guayaquil. He helped us to find a cheap hotel once we arrived Guayaquil. We had dinner together, and then walked around the city at night in the rain. What a special adventure.

Mini market at a corner of a street here in Guayaquil. Security is still bad here, so the shops you will pass by here in Ecuador (also in Argentina, Chile and Peru) definitely will have a fence. there is a small window for you to pay first before getting the stuff you want.

It is Sunday, so almost all the shops were closed except some mini markets, pharmacy, fast food chains and restaurants. Need to mention that not only green, Quayaquil is also a very clean modern city.

Actually i woke up early. All of them were still sleeping (i didnt join them to the bar because i needed time to adjust my mood for the yellow fever injection incident). Thus i went out walking myself, taking fresh air while wandering the city. Yeah, as usual, i would go to a park to recharge myself with positive energy.

I am sorry about ur camera. I know how it feels. I lost mine when I was in Hanoi and I felt like I wanted to search the whole city. What matters most was the pics in it. BTW, a very great experience you're sharing with us there. Not many Malaysians have covered that part of the world yet so far.
