FuFu Kitchen 2011 之家庭煮富
Today's Dinner - Pork Chop with Tzatziki (white) sauce, grilled Zucchini with butter, grilled tomato, grilled potato and glass of Orange juice.
Tzatziki, a Turkish (also Greek) meze or appetizer, is made of strained yoghurt mixed with cucumbers, garlic, salt, usually olive oil, pepper, dill, sometimes lemon juice and parsley, and sometimes mint added. I tried Tzatziki twice when i was in Turkey (May, 2007), the dish was served as an accompaniment to meat, and the other served with bread and salad. So, i found it at Aldi, the supermarket i always go for weekly grocery shopping this afternoon. I bought 3 pieces of pork chop also, and i fried one for dinner served with Tzatziki sauce. Nice combination! Tzatziki really matches prefectly with meat! *However, quite Olive-oily! Anyway, once a while.*
Today's Lunch (Vegetarian) - Boiled Lettuce and Zucchini Mushroom Soup, served with rice.
It's suddenly become chilly, well since two days ago. And nothing better than warming the body with a bowl of hot mushroom soup with zucchini. Lettuce was cheap yesterday. One for only Euro 0.45 (roughly RM 1.80, US $0.60)! I love vegetable actually, so i bought two and walked back home happily!
A. Cook lettuce in boiling salted water with several drops of olive oil (lettuce will look shiny) for two minutes. Then drain it. Fry garlic and onion with butter until fragrant and golden brown, top it on the lettuce. Pour on oyster sauce if preferred.
B. Fry garlic and onion with butter until fragrant. Add in Zucchini and stir-fry for a minute. Pour in water that already mixed with a spoon of soup paste. If preferred, add fresh in stead of dried mushroom and simmer for ten minutes before serving on the table.
Go green guys!! lol

Fried egg with onion - a typical and simple Malaysian dish. (correct me if not) Forgot to get protein in the morning, thus wanna cook two for lunch. Then, Princess Egg cried out loud that she loved Prince Onion. FuFu, the part-time God of Marriage decided to help princess. After the prince had turned into golden brown, poured him the princess. Remember to mix them well with low heat. So they can be properly mingled good. Smoothly, thoroughly, became one fine piece. Lastly, Prince Onion and Princess Egg live happily forever. Damn, onion and egg also have such nice fairy tale?!
